Don’t panic. Those are called goosebumps and the chill traveling up your spine is perfectly normal.

There are so many things in this video for anyone with a pulse (and memories of the 90s) to enjoy. You don’t even need to be a basketball fan, but it helps. Seeing Michael Jordan perfectly rendered in today’s standard for gaming graphics is thrilling. When that’s coupled with masterful motion capture (gum chewing, nonchalant stroll, business-like facial expression, AIR!), it’s a little surreal.

And if you’re a Jordan sneaker fanatic, you were probably even more excited to see the 12s in the video, too. Word spinning from the rumor mill is that the folks at 2K Sports will make every pair of Jordan shoes in the game unlockable as you play through it. I don’t know what the criteria for unlocking is going to be, but I’m thrilled it doesn’t involve paying for it as DLC.
