I’ve already introduced you to my ‘Dark Knights’. It’s time for you to meet the flashy cousin.

New York isn’t exactly a frozen tundra, but we natives are more than familiar with snow and ice in this young winter season. The Nike Air Max Posite Bakin Boot will be put to work.

To quote myself:

Taking its design cues from the Air Bakin basketball shoe Kevin Garnett once wore, the Posite Bakin Boots … are simply better looking than the old Nike Foamposite Boot. The previous design wasn’t exactly a fusion, but more of an Air Foamposite One glued onto the thick rubber bottoms found on Nike’s classic Air Max Goadome ACG boots.

Where these boots excel is where the leather Air Max Goadome struggled. The higher ankle goes a long way to ensure dryness when you have to stomp through deeper mounds of snow. And the foamposite exterior makes sure that your boot won’t scrape when those deep mounds of snow become, essentially, sandpaper.
