This is a perfect example of the danger behind a typo. It is way too soon for an error like that, Mr. Plaxico Burress.

A second ‘T’ is required when executing a “putt” in golf. Without
that specification, you have Burress’ inadvertent declaration of
violence against an innocent golf course — and a perfect set up for the
inevitable jokes from the mean-spirited people online.

I understand Twitter’s 140-character limitation means being selective with words, but there was wiggle room.

Burress obviously wasn’t intending violence in his tweet — definitely
not so soon after his release — but that doesn’t mean people won’t
pretend he was for the laughs.
